My V.B. comes up every year in the bed in which I planted the original, plus
a little in the next bed. It's easy to pull so I don't mind.
My cleome has traveled all over the place. I leave most of it in place
because it is reported to help deter deer because of its skunky odor when brushed
against. But if you want taller, bigger cleome, it is necessary to rogue out
some of them.
