Well, Bill
I am using pea gravel as a mulch on my new alpine beds...... That stuff
will wear you out... one bag at a time to carry into the garden and
spread... and one bag goes almost no place when spreading.
In the center of our long gravel driveway I used to cut the grass/weeds
when cutting the rest of the grass. JoAn tells me that is a bit tacky.... so
she now keeps the drive way sprayed with roundup. Have to admit it does look
a bit neater. Sure is a good germination bed for everything that is in the
fields surrounding us.
