Re: Mg presentation

Kitty,

Our local MG group sends a copy of our annual report to each and every
county commissioner, the mayor, etc. We also try to make sure that they get
copies of every news article ( and we send in many to the local paper). One
of our members also requests a proclamation of Master Gardener Day each
year. The commissioners get their faces in the paper with the MGs, and they
like it. Every once in a while, we invite a commissioner to one of our work
days at the school, library, etc. for a photo op, too.

It helps. We have to be loud, or they won't fund our Extension secretary,
much less an agent.
