Ceres, I'm guessing you mean the County Commissioners.  I sincerely doubt
there are any MGs that are commissioners - mostly just stuffy politicians
running the county.

And no, the withheld funding has to do with the extension service as a whole
which also includes 4H, Homemakers, and other groups as well as services to
agriculture, underprivledged youth, etc.  The issue at hand is a pidly $9000
but without it, one thing they'll lose is the security system for the
building, I don't know what else depends on that specific allotment.  This
does not bode well for the future, though.  They've chipped away at funding
before, you don't know what program might be affected next.
