Could be ether one of the above answers-need more information. Like how tall 
are the plants and the size of the flowers and leaves.

I have had some perennial vines grow 9 feet tall after three years of 
growth-long blooming plants.  They like deep but well drain ing soils.  Never had a 
problem with seedlings-maybe one or two each year.  The seed pods are long and 
thin and round in shape.
