Rampant iris? False alarm.

Sorry everyone. I went out to take a close-up picture to post and discovered
some hidden brown cylinders amongst the 'iris'. Yup, cat tails. But, these
are the tallest, fattest cat tails I've ever seen, and all just in this year.

We've had a ton of rain this summer, and no complaints there, but are cat
tails considered invasive in damp areas? I've only ever had them in a small pond
and they never ran but the surrounding area was not damp nor full of native
plants and trees.

Thanks again and sorry for the huge red flag I sent up.
