RE: Emailing: 8-21-09 004/ Tricyrtis

Ahh...
Lil, all depends upon the tricyrtis... you can have a tricyrtis in
bloom from mid June through first heavy frost by picking for bloom time.
Right now it is T. dilatata. In June it was T. latifolia with yellow blooms
with brown freckles. Most will be September into October and frost.
Cyclamen are usually loved to death...too much rich soil and
moisture. Drainage is a absolute or they rot out. here again, by picking the
right species or cultivar you can almost have a hardy cyclamen in bloom all
12 months of the year.

Amazing Gene - my Tricyrtis are a good month away from blooming - but the
Anemones are just beginning to open. Can't wait! I've never been able to
get
Cyclamen to grow - must not be holding my mouth right!

Grasses sure are happy this year though.
