I'm sure that the lovely list of hostas for sun do tolerate it better than
others, but want to note that where in the world you garden has a lot to do
with how much sun a plant can tolerate or needs.
There is a substantial difference between sun in USDA z. 4 and USDA z. 7, 8
or 9 in the eastern and southern states.
So, as a bit of wet-blanket-word-of-caution, people in hot climates and
different latitudes from MN, need to be a bit careful about planting any
hosta in full sun :-)
