Hi Victor,
That's interesting! You can have reams of paragraphs if you want! I need
all the help I can get to grow these guys!!
I see you are in z. 7, too, but I wonder if this will work for me, since I
know your weather doesn't get as hot and humid where you are as mine does.
The one time I tried them in full sun, where I think I'd read they wanted
to be, they curled up and died pretty quickly. As I remember, however, I
had them in well-amended garden soil -- a basic clay soil with organic
material added. Do you think this could be the problem -- not the sun?
What kind of soil would you recommend? Their leaves seem to indicate that
they would rather be on the dry side -- but I tried that, too and killed
them. What do you think?
