Here's a question for the experts on the list. Recently a friend in
Scotland sent me her last year's catalogue from Plant World Seeds in Devon,
England. They have some Aquilegias (Columbines) that I would love to get my
hands on. Question is, what do they consider "hardy"? I can grow most up to
Zone 4 in my protected zone 3 garden. It is my understanding the England is
less cold less long than southern Manitoba (probably significantly less cold
less long). :) :) :)
Any ideas on how the varieties A. Atrata, A. Clematiflora "Green Apples", A.
Double Rubies), A. "Roman Bronze" would make out in Zone 3/4?
Thanks in advance,
Barb
