Well it's in a mixture of store bought topsoil, peat, cow manure and compost
in a raised bed over compact clay that has full sun except for after four.
It's rained a LOT this year and has been cooler than normal. It's sitting
in front of my delphinium with nicotiana besides it. It's shorter but the
color is very nice against the delphinium foliage and compliments a
Holmstead purple verbena that's sprawling around it.
