Catalog ordering

I order from Bluestone Perennials almost exclusively for common perennials.
The plants, while smallish, are healthy and grow well, most blooming the
first season out. Plus, you can't beat their guarantee and prices, and I
love the offer of the free plants every year. However, I absolutely drool
over the White Flower Farm catalog. To me, they are the very best in the
business -- but be prepared to pay more for their very high quality. It is
worth it. I will buy from there what I can't get from Bluestone. (Note:
what I pay for one plant at White Flower Farm is equal to three plants at
Bluestone)

Consumer Reports had an article rating the perennial mail order business a
while back (about 6 months ago). It might be worth your while to try to
check that out. I also remember seeing a web site along these same lines.
Web surfers could post comments about their favorite or least favorite
companies. Try searching for it when you get a chance.
