Hi all,
I've had good luck with herbs and some perennials from Papa Genos
(www.papgenos.com and a hard-copy catalog). They are in Nebraska and
pack all plants very well to survive the journey. I've also gotten
some great perennials from Jackson and Perkins (kind of expensive, but
they all survived and thrived). Jung in Wisconsin is great for trees
and bushes for Zones 4 and 5. While these are shipped bare root, they
do well. And, I found that Jung "happily" and promptly replaced any
that didn't.
Hope that helps.
Peggy
