I don't know what zone you're in, but I'm in
6b/7a, PNW, and the only way I got mine to
flower after several attempts was to grow them
in a terracotta pot in a HOT area. They are a
tropical, and in my ground, they just never
warmed up enough.

Has anyone ever grown tuberoses? (I suppose
this is a topic for a bulbs
list, but I don't belong to one of those.) I
planted these in the late
spring, they have put up good healthy foliage,
but are not showing any sign
of a bud. Should I fertilize? With what? I
have some Scott's Bulb Food
which I occasionally use on my spring bulbs;
would this be good for them
and, if so, now or later? (According, to the
directions which came with
the bulbs, they should bloom in August.)
