Betty
I am growing them for the first time this year. Planted them in
containers.
Are yours in ground or containers?
/In the ground, in a place which has been great for just about anything
else I've planted there. It's irrigated, good, loose dirt, plenty of sun;
gave the whole bed some horse manure in the spring, etc. etc.
Here in zone 5 mine have just started to
bloom. (smell wonderful) What zone are you in?
/Between zones 5 and 6, in Louisville, KY.
I know mine took a long time (what seemed like for ever) to bud after I saw
nice foliage -- so maybe you just need to give them a little more time. I
did
give mine some fertilizer after leaves emerged, but I really don't know if
I
was suppose to or if it helped or not.
Not much help am I?? Maybe if you can tells us what zone, conditions, etc.
Some others can help -- better than I.
