Maybe I should dig mine up and try growing them in a pot! I planted
some, oh, probably 5 years ago. They come up every year, foliage looks
fine, but I have not had bloom one. I read somewhere recently that they
are one of those bulbs that blooms best the first year and kind of
fizzles after that. I guess mine were precocious :-) I've been
planning to dig them up and toss them. Maybe I'll buy some new ones and
try them in pots. Lord knows we have enough HOT around here!

Where my lobelia cardinalis is in bloom (only because it gets watered
every day or two) along with platycodon, echinacea, agastache and
buddlia. Everything else has burned up...
