Just a bit of humor here.
A friend's husband was transferred to Venezuela for three years. When
they arrived at their new house, my friend was thrilled to see loads of
impatiens blooming in the back yard. She was standing on the patio and
mentioned them to the cleaning lady, how pretty they were.
At which point the cleaning lady went over and started pulling them out!
Announcing that in Venezuela they are called 'Indiscreet Marie".
