Item Subject: Re: quick question
Hi everyone,
Urgent buddleia question!
Two weeks ago, I purchased a beautiful, huge, 5ft tall "white
profusion" in a 5 gallon pot. And I did not get the chance to plant
it. Then I went on vacation, and my housesitter forgot to water the
plants :( *@#%&! (Isn't that what housesitters are for?)
While I was gone, the weather was hot, dry and windy. Anyway,
everything is pretty sad, esp. the buddleia. It looks like toast, 90%
of the leaves are crispy brown and dropping. I have been drowning it
everyday, and there are a few green leaves here and there.
So here is the question: should I plant it as it is and keep watering,
or should I prune it all the way back and plant it, or keep it in the
pot till spring, or give up and toss it out? Is there any hope????
Thanks in advance,
Laurie
