Re: attachments, was bamboo/techy needed

It was an attachment for me, also, but I believe I know why.

I use Netscape, and in View/Attachments you can chose to view
attachments as either "inline" or "as links".  With all the recent
scares concerning attachments, I have chosen to view all attachments as
links, rather than inline text.  Because of this, some folks' messages
come through as links, which I can then chose to view or not to view.

When setting up your email for sending, I believe the default is to send
as html, rather than as text.  If the sender has not altered the
default, the message will be sent out html, which, again, on my computer
reads as an attachment, rather than a message.  Chances are, this is
what is happening with yours, too.
