The San Diego Wild Animal Park has wonderful wonderful gardens. Give yourself
an entire day and see the animals too.
The SD Zoo has good gardens too. If you try to see the pandas, be aware that
if the weather is hot they may not be on exhibit until late in the day/early
evening.
If you're into roses, check out the rose gardens in Balboa park. They were in
full bloom August 10.
