Re: Rudbekia hirta
Hi all,
In reply to your letter the rudbekia is an perennial in the Indiana garden.
We are in zone 6 and as a general rule we do not have a very harsh
winter. This past winter we had a real mild winter. They come up from seed
each spring and they play a major role in my gardenfor color that usually
last until frost. Some times in the spring the seeds come up so thick i have
to thin them out.
Another annual that is a perennial in our garden is Salvia which also gives
me a lot of color for at least 2 monthes
