Donna,
Donna, Don't you dare beat yourself up! Your
suggestion actually answered a question for me. I have
severe mole problems and spray my lawn with a caster
oil/water/detergent mixture to repel the moles. But
I've never sprayed it on my perennial/hosta gardens
fearing that it might not be good for the plants. I
just finished scattering $60 worth of an
environmentally friendly granular replellent on the
gardens. From now on, I will spray the diluted caster
oil (which is much less expensive) on everything. It
may not be especially beneficial in a dilute and
sprayed form, but at least it shouldn't hurt. And I'll
save money that I can spend on more plants !! Thanks
for your posting :>)
