i have a corkscrew willow that i rooted , i have mine in the ground,it is
about 7 or 8ft.now very skinny so far,no water near it,i put about 40ft.
from my house has plenty of room to grow,i may regret putting it in
ground,but all i have ever seen was in the ground,
