Kaffir Lily (Clivia miniata) is from South Africa and although there is no
actual bulb, it does have thick fleshy roots, thus it can be kept on the
dry side as along as it gets a good drink every now and then. You may
want to repot it and check the health of the roots (firm and maybe 1/4
inch in diameter). I'm not sure if there might be any specific problems
that cause the shriveling of new leaves - I've never experienced that
problem I usually just give my plants some bone meal, bulb food, or what
is called Super Phosphate (not a brand name). These are all high in
phosphorus (the middle number of the N-P-K formula for fertilizers). My
plants usually bloom once a year in late winter. I also never keep mine in
full sun. Even here in Wisconsin light shade seems to suit my plant the
best.

Good Luck

Don
