Hi y'all -- please excuse the cross-posting....
I recently purchased a 5 gal container of blooming gloriosa lilies -- if
you've not seen them, these flowers are absolute show stoppers -- Gloriosa
lilies are vining lilies with bright crimson flowers edged in yellow. The
flowers hang down (pendant???) and the overall impact is just spectacular.
The price was too...
Anyway, I can't decide whether I should keep the lilies in their pot and
move them in and out each year or if I can safely put them in the ground.
We get a few nights of freeze typically in the winter (except for last
winter of course), but I've not found anything that tells me how hardy the
dormant bulbs are. Does anyone have any experience with these beauties?
