I'm growing this lily in a pot. I purchased two tubers at a local garden
center for $3.99 and I thought it was a pretty good deal. It's growing
habit IS odd -- I've never seen another one like it. The flowers alone are
worth searching this one out. There are a couple of sources I've found
that are pretty good on the price: one is Van Bourgeon (gosh, I've really
mangled the spelling on that company) and I think Dutch Gardens -- but
can't swear to that one. I've never found the all-yellow variety, though,
and would be most interested in a source.
I've left a few seed capsules on the vines this year. They're fattening up
quite nicely, but I don't know when to harvest. Will the seed capsule turn
brown first?
