Seeking advance reassurance that my creaky wheelchair will negotiate the
Shropshire border Fair featuring the UK National coneflower Collection, my
informant on said collection advised -, re. R. hirta "Indian Summer" in
Britain - to treat it as HA, though might be lucky to keep it a couple of
years. He warned of narrow archways on site. If I don't get stuck in one,
I'll give a report early September about propagation experiences here -
assume Zone 7 to 8 is a rough equivalent? Hope Prof. Rudbeck's shade
