Re: coneflowers


My green wizard's bloomed this year ( I just seeded them inside in January) and
I must say I'm a bit disappointed.
They looked so cool in the catalog but kinda puny 2" flowers and don't look
quite so hot in bouquets as I thought they would.  Is it because they are in
their first year? And will do better next year.  Hate to 'waste' good garden
space.

Anyone else plant these and had good results?
