The buds take a number of weeks to open on the Anemones and speaking of
plants that have buds for a long time before they open - For some reason I
have found that many of the plants are blooming earlier than normal for me-My
Kirengeshoma palmata is starting to bloom and so are my turtleheads, both of
these plants generally do not bloom until September.

The Kirengeshoma will have flower buds for two months befor they open.
