Hi Karen,
My Dierama is in half sun against a north-east wood fence with
some supplemental water. It's blooming now and began to bloom
about 2 years after planting. My book says sun and moist soil.
It doesn't say when to move it but does recommend you include
a couple corms with your division.
It's a very sweet plant with a unique appearance. The blossoms
open and die one at a time along the flower stalk and the spent
blossoms look a bit papery, it's not a blaze of color.
enjoy, Kris in northern CA
