Me either Marg!
I live in CT and I can't remember the last time we had rain-I mean a real,
all day rain. It has to be April or early May.
They haven't banned water usage in my town-yet. I have been watering very
sparingly. I have to say the border along side the house looks the best. I
don't know if it is because it gets afternoon shade or what, but even the
water loving Black-eyed Susan's look good-not like the ones out in the front
bed. Speaking of the front beds, they are pathetic. Even my lavender is about
to raise the white flag, or cry uncle..something.
This is what still looks decent in my yard: Buddlea, Heliopsis, Roses,
Veronica, Phlox, Blackeyed-Susan's (border only), Hosta's, Mullein, Agastache.
Everything else is barely hanging on. We are supposed to get rain today and
the rest of the weekend...I have to see it to believe it!
