Sorry about the annual subject and this will indeed show my naivety to gardening but my children and I just discovered why sunflowers are called 'sun'flowers. We have planted these for years and only this week we were utterly amazed at how the sunflowers follow the sun. Like tall soldiers they are all facing East in the morning, standing straight up and looking skyward at noon and all facing the west at sunset. God is so clever giving us these wonderful little discoveries!
