Have you written, or do you know of, an article on growing Hostas from seed?
Are there any special tips? Such as, should you plant the seed now, or in
the spring? When you say that you don't often get anything interesting,
what do you usually get? >>
Most Hosta from seed will be green or gold but the leaf shape and size will
depend on the parents.
Hosta are easy from seed-you can start them inside in the fall and grow them
all winter under lights.
Most of the seedlings will make good ground cover but once in a while you get
a real ugly plant too.
