Three of Waller Flowerseed's Sorbet violas (Blueberry Cream, Yellow Delight and Yellow Frost) received the Award of Garden Merit from the Royal Horticultural Society in Wisley, Surrey, UK. More than 90 varieties were entered in the 1998-99 winter trial period. Plants were judged on habit, impact, flowering, color, uniformity and length of flowering period. Trials are conducted from seed in open ground. Plants withstood severe frost, one snowfall and heavy rain bscott@wallerflowerseed.com
