I had one for ONE year - that's all it gave me, in zone 5 SE Wisconsin. 
I had it in full sun, Southern exposure, right up next to the house. 
The odor was atrocious, but the flowers were pretty.  It never came back
- I think it might have been too dry. . . .Ah well . . .the joys of
discovery.

SE WI zone 5 - 4 inches of snow on the ground and more on the way - yet
my husband's company (18 miles SE of here), has not a flake on the
ground!  Go figure . . .
