Even tho it froze here last winter, down to 19 degrees, most of my
Angelonia returned this spring!!  I think they might not be annuals in
their native land wherever that is.

I accidentally found out that Angelonia roots very easily in water.  One
of my solid purple ones somehow was broken (probably a chicken did it). 
I picked up the pieces and tossed them into a bird bath (actually a toad
bath on the ground under foliage) thinking I would get them and try
rooting them.  Of course I forgot all about it and weeks later noticed
them.  They had roots all along the stem wherever it was under water!! 
I planted them directly into the ground and they all thrived.

I now have a big jar full of cuttings for next year. :-)
