Here Angelonia has survived mild winters and/or beneath the leaf mulch,
just like snapdragons. It is a perennial plant in its native Central and
South American, listed as winter-hardy to Zone 9.
Again as with snapdragons, it can get tall and floppy by mid summer and
needs to be trimmed back to promote bushiness.
