Chantal referred to: "an insecticide bar (the one
you use for the house that's slowly releasing the product",
and I remember those, but I haven't seen them around for several
years. Have they been taken off the market in the U.S.?
Anyway, I have used a similar method if the plant is
small enough with a plastic bag and a piece of
paper towel saturated with insecticide in the bag with it.

and I hear it may do it again tomorrow!)
