Campanula speed up

Merry Christmas to you all --
I received some seed pkts from Thompson & Morgan this week.
One of the items was Campanula Latifolia Amethyst.
The seed pkt says germination can take 1-3 months at 65-70F.
Is there anything I can do to speed up the process?
I suspect the seed is quite fine.
Will hot water help as suggested for the Asclepias?
Thank You and Best Wishes --

C. latifolia is relatively easy to germinate and after 4-6 weeks you'll
have all you need. To speed them up a bit, immediately after sowing pour
hot water (hand hot as you can stand without cringing - not boiling) over
them to soak them into the soil. (this works really well on aquilegia sp.
as well) Do this once. If you try soaking them, you'll find the seed is
smaller than asclepias and they are a pain in the anatomy to get out of the
water and then sow. Keep the soil temp (not air temp) at 72F for fast
germination. Remember that soil temp is usually 10-15F colder than air
temp. My experience with Campanula sp. is that they do not require any
special germination techniques other than warm soil and moisture next to
the seed to get them to kick into life. (always assuming of course that the
seed is alive);-) The constant soil temp with heating cables is the key.
