Heating cables come with zero instructions in my experience. I think they ought to be looped so that two wires do not touch, but manufacturers are silent on that issue.  Does anyone know for sure?  TIA, Margaret L



Heating cables (shown in red) should be strung beneath the area to be warmed (the box outlined in black)in a pattern approximated by the drawing at the site below:
