>>>What inquiring minds want to know is........ do you hang your CDs on the
tree with or without the clear plastic cases?
Without ;-)
1) The free CDs that come in the mail don't have plastic cases, and I break
enough cases on "real" CDs that I never have any left over.
2) Haven't UV-tested the cases, but I suspect that the plastic would NOT
hold up well and fall apart into shards.
3) To tell the truth, I can now tell the difference between the CDs that
are up for their second season and the brand-new ones, but it's only a
slight yellowing.
>>I have been tempted several times to buy
a high end one, but fear for its life if I do.
Sears Craftsman tools!! Free lifetime replacement. Just make sure it's the
right kind when you buy your first one--they don't replace ALL tools, just a
few of the lines they carry. I think I'm on fork #3. It also helps that
I've learned to recognize the nearly-fatal moment and back off some.
Getting a bigger lever, rather than using more force, is usually a better
answer for both my back and my tools.
