Re: tulips


This is interesting. Can you store them at room temps or do you have to
have a "root cellar" or some such cool storage area? I was actually
wondering about the Globemaster alliums I purchased this year, they are
expensive and I wince to think that I'll only get one year of bloom out
of them if we have a wet summer. You never can tell and we have clay
soil.

THe old "Apeldoorn" series of Darwin hybrid tulips is perennial for me
here for a number of years, but every 5-7 years we get a real soggy
summer and then they succumb.
