Don, you are right on schedule. We planted ours, Amoracia
rusticana'Variegata" and it performed exactly like yours.......and in the
third year it exploded with variegation. Was the hit of the garden
tour...........everyone wanted to know what it was. Now in the fall we
started to notice what looked like seedlings appearing in our gravel drive.
Ours came from The Variegated Foliage Nursery in Connecticut where we go at
least once per season. www.variegatedfoliage.com
As we've been told........it's a bit aggressive in it's reseeding, perhaps
rhizomatous.....but wow. you can dig the root, grind it and have the best
horseradish for the table; veery sharp.
