seed saving question

Hi all,

Actually, it is a question about separating the seed from the other vegetative matter. I have a lot of left over material from attempting to collect the seeds from a Pony Tails amaranth. The seeds are in the middle of the dried flower and are very small. Any hints on separating the wheat from the chaff?
Some of the other amaranths have the same problem, but this one is the worst. A sieve lets lots of chaff through.

Hope you are all staying warm/dry/cozy; it is a nasty rainy day here.

I'm off to my daylily society meeting; wish me luck, I am entering some slides in the yearly contest.
