RE: more on magazines

The thing that drives my husband craziest is that I seek out sources of animal waste and bring it HOME. What is wrong with chemical fertilizers? he asks....
After that, buying "dirt" makes him nuts...Along with composting and collecting the kitchen waste and feeding it to the composter all winter long!

Assure him that you have not bought the most dirt .... my DH will set
him straight on that issue!:)

 Thanks Claire- I hadn't heard of this one either ( my husband will

just be

 thrilled to know I want more plant stuff in the house!)  He laughed
 yesterday morning when I told him- "it's not raining- I'm going to rip
 somemore of the front lawn out (to make a bed larger)".  He also

thinks I

 have bought more "dirt" than any other person on earth.

 Oh, well- at least he always comes to look at what I've done and

declares

 that it looks great!
