Re: more on magazines

Good Morning!
For some time now gardeners have been able to subscribe to "Garden Design" on
eBay for around 10.00 for three years. Once I checked this and it was 12.00.
Whatever the price of the day, that is a bargain to offset another magazine
at higher cost.
Has it gotten better? I was reading for awhile and it seemed to be more life style and less about the plants. I did like the way it started, but the focus sifted around the 2nd year and I didn't renew.

I wanted "Plants" another UK mag but would not go for the cost of that one
though they have a very good website with a database of most of new
perennials and other plants. Who has seen some copies of this one?
This one intrigues me too! INFO please

Garden Design has Ken Druse as the main hort. article writer at this time. It seems to me he writes down to his audience in this magazine but it still
worth a read. This is the magazine with the garden quotes running down the
side of every page. What a job this is for some editor! Since the eBay
cost is so low, one can put up with some minor flaws.
ACK - I refuse to be patronized - I'd rather learn something new and make some effort than be deemed unintelligent.
