Gene is hereby assigned to report on "Plants" for the perennial list.  We
will be pleased to have your assessment.

I join you with the stack of newsletters, journals and some magazines.  On
one day when I am in the mood, which is not often, I take those read and sit
on the floor with the stack.  I tear out everything I might wish to refer to
later on and put in an appropriate folder.  For example, I tend to keep all
articles on propagation.  The I put the folders in the bookshelves.

So not to impress too much, I should say that I do this about every two
years.
