Not exactly reading but Plants Magazine has just started a Mid-Atlantic
edition; New York through Virginia and I guess I'll have to get it as others
have liked the New England edition. And is Allen Lacy still writing his
Newsletter? Thought of it when Henry Mitchell was mentioned. Time to read
again Mitchell's Essential Earthman
and Lacy's Home Ground , both great by the fireplace; witty, opinionated and
informative. How about Eleanor Perenyi's Green Thoughts ? How'd this get
into books?
