Don, I brought home a plant of Meadowbrite in Sept.2003. It grew well the 
rest of the summer/fall, but never returned in the spring. I had it in a spot 
where all other echinaceas have done well. So I'm guessing it may need some 
winter protection in our climates, even though it was developed in Chicago.

But I'm going to buy it again because it is such a beautiful color and the 
fragrance is fantastic.
