How different are these "Oasis Rootcubes" from cubes of florists foam? Ed
Lawrence (a plant expert in Ottawa) showed my local gardening club how to root
cuttings in cubes of pre-soaked florists foam (dip the cuttings in rooting
hormone first). Works pretty well: you never have to remove the foam: the
roots just work their way through it. And florists' foam is cheap and easy to
come by.
